Each year, the CI Lab produces three original programs that bring together representatives from industry, academe and the citizen sector. These programs focus on community concerns and opportunities for positive change through technological solutions.
The Spark Summit is the only event of its kind. Imagination and cooperation are the order of the day as cross-boundary teams articulate desired inventions to strengthen communities in need. Participants rapidly expand their awareness of civic issues and the process of innovation—and maybe a new team and technology are born!
Thought leaders from around the globe gather to explore the informed innovation of technologies for social change. The conference also showcases the final stage of a national technology competition.
A national technology competition seeks teams and technologies that are making a positive difference in communities today. The CI Lab supports the competition winners in a variety of ways including fellowship support, network development, and strategic guidance. Most importantly, the winner's package includes access to a cross-boundary team of passionate experts—the Wisdom in Action Circle—assembled specifically to accelerate and amplify that team's success.
