committees

our committees put emphasis on areas of special interest to circle k. each committee is headed by a chairperson who is appointed by the incoming officers. these two groups combine to make up our board of directors. board meetings are held regularly, meeting time and place tba. see the membership page for contact information.

Margaret Fuller Chair
The Margaret Fuller Chair will coordinate service activities at the Margaret Fuller House at which Circle K members can tutor and serve as role models for children. Circle K hosts a Margaret Fuller fair for children every fall.

CASPAR Chair
This committee chair will maintain contact with the CASPAR center in Cambridge and will organize (though not necessarily be required to attend) weekly visits to help serve meals at the center.

Harvard Soup Kitchen Chair
This chair will be in charge of contacting the kitchen and organizing weekly participation.

Cambridge Senior Center Chair
This committee chair will contact the senior center in anticipation of upcoming events at the center. Plans are for the involvement to be through the monthly parties at the center, but it would be great if involvement also extended to other areas.

Other committees will be created as projects are suggested and take shape.
