Regional Perspective: Turkey in Transition

CIS convened a public forum on “Turkey’s Turbulent Road to the EU,” cosponsored with and held at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. The distinguished panel discussed a wide range of topics: Turkey’s relations with Iraq and Iran, its human rights record, the effect of the EU on Turkey’s political system, and other regional issues.
