Consortium on Qualitative Research Methods

The Consortium on Qualitative Research Methods (CQRM) holds an annual training institute on qualitative research methods. Information is provided at
http://www.maxwell.syr.edu/moynihan/programs/cqrm/.

MIT, as a member institution, can select one student or junior faculty member to attend the institute. Students who wish to apply for MIT selection must contact Susan Twarog, Department of Political Science, E53-467 tel (617) 253-8336, twarog@mit.edu. Students, fellows and junior faculty members not so selected, or who attend non-member organizations, may apply directly to CQRM. CQRM will cover the costs of tuition, lodging, and meals for successful applicants. Student attendees will be responsible for their own transportation costs to and from the meeting.

MIT graduate students accepted either through MIT or directly through CQRM may request reimbursement from CIS for up to $250 in travel costs. Expenses will be reimbursed after the training institute on presentation of receipts for airfare and any other travel expenses. Please submit the request for reimbursement to the CIS Executive Director.
