The scales below are intended for 6-string guitar 
tuned to the usual "E,A,D,G,B,E".  To play an 
acending scale, start at the bottom-left line and 
read toward the right, moving up a line when you 
come to the end (descending is just the reverse).  
The "1,2,3,4" correspond to the index, middle, 
ring and pinky on the left hand, respectively.
  The 7 scales below are the 7 Diatonic 
progressions of the major scale, and the "Other" 
scales below them are other interesting patterns.
Some of them are useless, but others add flavor.
