Day 2
Day 3
We arrived in the Jeju airport late in the afternoon and
had a cramped bus waiting to take us to the hotel. The hotel
room had a nice view from the top floor of the hotel, although
it was quite foggy the whole time we were there.
After settling down, we went out for a walk near the sand
and ate dinner at the hotel.

Heidi and I in our room.

The view from our deck on the top floor. As foggy as it was, this
was probably the clearest day we had at the hotel!

Some women were working near the rocks collecting something.

This is some kind of sea plant -- I'm not sure if its food or what!

Another view of the rocks at the water's edge.

A closeup of a rock -- most of Jeju's rock is vulcanic. I didn't have a magnet, but
I'd bet much of it is magnetic too. Some of the rock we saw was a rusty red color,
indicating iron oxides.

Here I was so tired I had to hold my head up with my fingers. Heidi couldn't
wait to take a picture of me.
