Exploration of Parameters for Continuous Blending of Pharmaceutical Powders
Research Description:
Ben just wants to know how to mix two white powders together efficiently. He works on multiscale analysis of the continuous pharmaceutical blending process, using multivariate data analysis to investigate the relative importance of blender design, process parameters, and material properties. Current experimental techniques include near infrared spectroscopy and Matlab simulations.
