Welcome to ClubChem, MIT's Undergraduate Chemistry Club ClubChem is an organization dedicated to the MIT undergraduate
chemistry community and friends. We hold periodic study breaks, organize
dinners with professors, design and distribute Course 5 merchandise,
and plan other events with the goals of bringing together MIT's
chemistry students and interfacing with the rest of the undergraduate
community. Have a Fun and Productive Spring Term!
Meet ClubChem's new Executive Committee! Check out the new members of ClubChem-Exec here. What does ClubChem do? We hold Donut Mondays open to everyone. Grab a donut and some coffee on the way to class. We arrange professor dinners, so you can get to know what they're like away from the chalkboards! ClubChem does Chemistry Magic Shows for local elementary schools, inspiring kids to take an interest in chemistry and the world around them by demonstrating some tricks with acid/base indicators, nylon, and liquid nitrogen. Questions? Just ask our officers. ClubChem is sponsored by the James K Littwith (1942) Fund and the MIT Chemistry department. Where is the Chemistry Undergraduate Lounge? (Room 6-201) It is the room just off the second floor of the infinite corridor, right next to the Chemistry Education Office and close to the chemistry problem set boxes. |
