Magic Shows This year, ClubChem hopes to continue its tradition of holding Magic Shows. Our magic shows are geared for a young audience, with the goal of inspiring an interest in chemistry and science in general through up-close and personal encounters with some unbelievable but true chemical phenomena. We typically do them for elementary schools and community youth programs. For the 2013 spring semester, we have two magic shows booked for 4 pm on Fridays March 15th and April 5th. MIT students interested in being magicians should contact ClubChem exec. Important: We are unable to accept any more requests for Magic Shows for this spring. Email ccexec@mit.edu if you are interested in hosting a Magic Show this fall. Every request will be reviewed by the ClubChem board and the decision to organize a program will be made on a request-by-request basis. Thank you!
During the magic shows, we do some eye-popping demonstrations, including some with liquid nitrogen! To really get the students involved, there are even some hands-on, interactive experiments. Interested in booking a Magic Show? Send mail to ccexec@mit.edu\ a |
