Mr. Bernardo Minkow
Senior Partner and Director McKinsey & Company

Biography

Bernard Minkow is a Director of McKinsey & Company in the Madrid office. He joined the Firm in 1975, worked in the New York office for one year, and then moved to Mexico City, where he was elected a Principal in 1980 and a Director in 1986. He was the leader Mexico City Practice for the 1993-2000 period.

He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)., where he graduated at the top of his class, (Summa Cum Laude), an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School and an MS and EE in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

During his career with McKinsey, he has served clients in Brazil, Mexico, Spain, and the United States, Venezuela, Korea, Russia and the Middle East in projects mainly related to energy, telecommunications and the public sector. He is currently the leader of the National Oil Companies Practice.
