For Cambridge Students: Academics at MIT > Academic Survey Responses

MIT Course Catalog

Students at MIT have a wide range of choices in the classes they take. In addition to taking classes in their subject areas or Course, they can choose from classes from other disciplines including subjects in the Humanities or the Sloan School of Management.

To help you in making your choices, Cambridge University students who have participated in the Cambridge-MIT Exchange completed a survey regarding the subjects they had taken at MIT. The results are divided in two parts for each subject:

  • Overview: Gives each subject's Cambridge prerequisites and equivalents.
  • Comments: Gives more information on who takes the subject, as well as rating the lecturers, recitation instructors and the subject itself.

Please remember that these are the views of the individual students whose names are listed along with the subject number.

Remember in planning your classes at MIT, you need to be in touch with your Subject Coordinator at Cambridge University.
