Nexon is an online games site that features four downloadable role-playing
games (Elemental Saga, Dark Ages, Shattered Galaxy, and Nexus TK),
and Quiz Quiz, the Nexon online community that hosts, among other
things, fashion shows featuring animated characters. As I learned
from the company profile, Nexon is a South Korean company that prides
itself on developing sophisticated role-playing games with a dynamic
and loyal online community. As a user who is entirely unfamiliar with
computer games of any kind beyond shareware, I was dazzled by the
sophisticated graphics and animation, but I do not feel comfortable
enough with the material to substantively comment on the games themselves.
The presentation of the games is sexy and uncluttered, with an effective
use of Flash.
