both the content and audience for television, the emergence of narrowcasting
and niche-based models of the audience, experiments in combining television
and digital media, experiments in development of on-line networks (with
focus on the experience of developing cartoon series for the web), alternative
models for the future of television and the economic/technical challenges
they confront, trends in viewer behavior, impact of TiVo and other time-shift
