Doom is a "light pop"
It looks like it was a bad/weak weekend for films that opened this weekend. Leading them in mediocrity was Doom. Even the Rock could not excite audiences beyond a fizzle.

What are the choices that studios make behind adapting certain video games and not others? Trying to find gamers opinions on the movie. The article above is only concerned with numbers at the box office.
Found. Viewer(s) were pleasently surprised with the "unique plot twists" however they did go in with very low expectations. Another example of gamer minds vs. film critics? They said that "if you can relate to Sin City, then Doom is also the movie for you."
