Electric Cinderella Blanket

While this is one technology with which the adult entertainment industry could have a lot of fun, WestPoint Home Inc. and T-Ink have teamed up to bring us interactive Cinderella comforters. The comforters have circuitry sewn in such that when touched, they can blink three sets of lights and make a "magical swoosh" sound. The ink and electronics, provided by T-ink, are "flexible, washable and non-toxic; and withstands bending and washing" (and not at all redundant). From the article:

"Cinderella is the tip of the iceberg," explained Steve Hoffman, vice president, marketing services and licenses, WestPoint Home. "The juvenile market is just an entry point for this extraordinary new technology that will ultimately impact everyone of any age. What if your sheets could turn on a light without a switch? What if your pillows could talk? What if your shower curtain could play music?"

If the media really is the message, my talking pillow would say, "Wash me," my shower curtain would hum "Singin' In The Rain" and my bed sheets would be pure information.
