Burger King Sponsors Advertising through iPod Video Downloads


Burger King Corp. is sponsoring the new fall season of video program “Must Stream TV” for online media content creator Heavy.com. The comedy program will be available for download onto Apple iPod portable music devices. In addition to sponsoring “Must Stream TV,” Burger King will also sponsor the program “Behind the Music that Sucks,” which will feature popular music artists. This marketing partnership represents the first one in which a company advertises through video iPod downloads. Burger King selected Heavy.com because of its high traction with younger male viewers (18- to 34-year olds); overall, Heavy.com attracts six million viewers per month.
