PeaceMaker (the video game?)
This is definately the antithesis of GTA...it's called PeaceMaker.
Student's in Carnegie Mellon's Master of Entertainment Technology Program (MET) developed a video game where you "assume the role of the Palestinian president or the Israeli prime minister" and have to take on the task of keeping peace between nations. Players must "respond to events, such as diplomatic negotiations, suicide bombings or military actions."
I find that the MET program is quite similar to the CMS program with a little more emphasis on engineering and computer science. They are no doubt discussing many of the issues touched on in this class. Perhaps some of these students would be good contacts for our project.
