In each case, we sought to show how new models of media production, circulation, and consumption can alter the way businesses operate. Through a partnership with Initiative Media, we have examined the ways that consumer behavior is shifting in response to the affordances of the new media environment, developing a qualitative and quantitative study of audience engagement with Survivor, American Idol, and other reality television series. |
