Two CMSE Researchers Named In Top 100 Chemists in the World

In recent lists compiled by Thomson Reuters, the world's top 100 chemists and materials scientists over the last decade were released, based on the number of papers published by each chemist and how many times they have been cited. Four of our CMSE researchers have made the lists, based on high impact scores for their chemistry papers.

For the list of top 100 chemists, Prof. Moungi Bawendi (Department of Chemistry) came in at #29 with 52 papers published and being cited 4,364 times. Prof. Michael Rubner (Department of Materials Science and Engineering) was #40 with 51 papers published and being cited 4,004 times.

On the list of top 100 materials scientists, Prof. Paula Hammond (Department of Chemical Engineering) was #74 with 42 papers being cited 1,927 times. Prof. Caroline Ross (Department of Materials Science and Engineering) came in at #86 with 27 papers being cited 1,174 times.

Congratulations to all for this achievement!
