| I like taking pictures of good looking food. I quickly learned that no matter how good the food looks in real life, pictures of it usually look bad. I havn't figure out how to correct this, other than taking lots of pictures hoping one turns out good. I think this is because humans are very sensative to the color of foods. If a picture of a sunset turns out more orange or red than the the eye originally perceived it, it still looks beatiful. But if lettuce looks a little too green, or not green enough, our keen sense of color picks up on it right away. This is probably because our ancestors needed to be able to tell which foods were not yet ripe, and which foods were too ripe. And one way to do this is the be very sensative to the color of the food. | |
