Taiwan

During winter break 2003, I went to to Taiwan with my girlfriend and her family. I took many many pictures, but here are the ones I liked the most.

Dumplings...yummmy.

Steamy street side restaurant.

Night market. These things are crazy (to people from the western half of the hemisphere, that is).

Thats me at the base. And behind me is a monument to a person that is very important to the people of Taiwan (Chiang Kai-shek).

This has nothing to do with Taiwan (except that I took it there), but I really like how light interacts with hair.

Giant Koi pond. I like how the fish are all lined up at the top, moving towards the food. But as they get closer and closer towards the bottom they get more and more disorderly.
