When you log on to COEUS®, you'll see the main menu bar, parts of which change as you proceed, providing options most closely related to your current task. Menus

Speed up your work by using toolbar buttons instead of pulldown menus for selecting COEUS® tasks. Top row

The lower section of the Window menu lists all open COEUS® windows. If you like to work with several COEUS® windows open at once, for example narrative and budget, do the following:
Windows NT/95/98 users: If you arrange the open windows in a cascade, all the open windows will be visible, and you can click to activate any one of them. Set up the Cascade window arrangement using the Window pulldown menu at the top, or use the Cascade toolbar button. |

If your computer has limited memory, remember to close COEUS® windows that you are no longer using. Use the Windows menu as described above to access and close hidden windows that are still open. |

|
|
|
|
COEUS® dropdown fields provide a list of values from which to select. As you become familiar with the choices, speed up your work by entering the first letter of the desired value. The full value appears in the field. For example, on the window Add Proposal, in the Proposal Type field, enter "r", and the value "renewal" appears. |

|
Save your changes periodically and when the Save prompt appears. |
