MITBAT IV was held on March 1, 2008.

18 teams played 6 games under a real-time Swiss-paired system, so that each round, every team played against a team with a win-loss record similar to its own, including the round just played. Teams did not play teams from their own school, and teams did not play against each other twice during Swiss pairing.

After the first 6 rounds, the top 8 teams were seeded into a double-elimination bracket. We have individual and team statistics available for the Swiss-paired rounds, as well as the entire tournament.

Individual awards were given to the top three scorers:

  3. Lance Pauker, Smithtown West C, 44.17 PPG
