Media in Transition
The Media in Transition Project, funded by the Markle Foundation, was launched in tandem with the launch of the Program in Comparative Media Studies at MIT. The project culminated in the first Media in Transition conference in 1999.
Since that time, there have been three additional Media in Transition Conferences. The conferences are held every two years at MIT near the end of the spring term.
Media in Transitioin conferences are presented by Comparative Media Studies and the Communications Forum at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
