international conference april 27-29, 2007 mit
Hotel rooms are expensive in Cambridge, especially those near MIT. Rooms in Boston are similarly priced, but there are moderately priced accommodations in both markets. Remember to ask about any and all discounts when inquiring about rates.
The conference organizers have reserved blocks of rooms in two area hotels. Rooms will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency for the evenings of Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28 that cost $169 plus tax per night for single or double occupancy and $194 plus tax for triple occupancy. Please register here to take advantage of the special conference pricing. The Hyatt is located at the corner of Memerial Drive and Amesbury Street about a mile from the heart of MIT. There is a shuttle that runs to MIT and there are taxis available.
We have also reserved a smaller block of rooms for the same nights at the Kendall Hotel, which is located at 350 Main Street right on the MIT campus and within blocks of the conference venue. The cost of a room at the Kendall is $224 plus tax for single occupancy and $234 plus tax for double occupancy. In order to take advantage of the conference pricing, go to the Kendall Hotel reservation page, click on groups at the bottom of the page, and use the code 5MIT for the Attendee Code.
