Attending only

Professors and Senior Lecturers who are not participating in Commencement may still attend, but you must have a ticket. To request one, please send a note to facultytix@mit.edu. You will receive an email toward the end of May to let you know where and when to pick up your ticket. An assistant may do this for you; please include your assistant's name in your request so we may contact him/her when tickets become available.

A note about Commencement guest tickets: tickets available to MIT professors and Senior Lecturers are intended for their use or that of their guests. These tickets are separate and apart from the "general seating" area for which degree candidates receive four guest tickets. Tickets are not required for the Hooding Ceremony. Seats are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
