Commencement: June 7, 2013
Faculty members may wear their own or rented regalia. Please note that online registration and ordering of regalia is now closed. If you would like to march at Hooding and/or Commencement, please email Kimberly Nelson to see whether arrangements may be made. If you own all pieces of regalia and need simply to advise us of your plans to participate, please include that information in your message.
Regalia pick-up
Rental regalia will be available in room 8-119 on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 from 10 am to 4 pm. On Friday, June 7, rental regalia will be available in the lobby of Kresge Auditorium at 8:30 am.
Regalia return
Please return rented regalia to room 8-119 either immediately after Commencement or by 4 pm on Monday, June 10. Drop-off hours on Monday are 10 am–4 pm.
If you are marching in the Commencement procession, you do not need a ticket. Faculty may request one guest ticket in advance, but please note that as of May 23, there are no further tickets available for 2013.
A note about Commencement guest tickets: tickets available to MIT faculty are intended for use by faculty members or their guests. These tickets are separate and apart from the "general seating" area for which degree candidates receive four guest tickets.
