Audiotaping/Videotaping

When audio or video recordings are to be made of a subject's statements or activities, then the informed consent form must specifically state that such recordings will be made. It should also indicate who will have access to the recordings and what the final disposition of the recordings will be.

If a subject withdraws from a study, their recordings must be erased or destroyed unless the subject gives specific permission for their retention and use.
