Fall 2014 company information sessions may be scheduled on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 6PM and 10PM. All presentations must end by 10PM. Presentations may be scheduled weekdays from August 4 through November 21, 2014.

PLEASE NOTE that September 4, 2014 is the first day of classes; many students are not available before this date. We strongly urge you to consider your target audience when choosing your presentation date. Generally, only postdoc and PhD students are on campus during the summer months.

Only Career Fair sponsors may present during Career Fair Week (September 15-19). To find information about the Career Fair and sponsorship, please go here. Note that Conference Services will not schedule presentations during Career Fair Week.

The company contact who submits a request form is responsible for informing his/her company representatives of the policies listed on this page.

Recruitment Presentation Fee
The cost to request a company presentation is $300.00.

Please note: Requests from organizations with outstanding balances will not be confirmed until the balance is settled.

If you prefer your presentation be held in a Stata Center classroom, an additional $75 charge will be applied. Please forward your room request confirmation to co-recruit@mit.edu to make note of your preference; an updated invoice will be sent if we're able to accommodate your presentation in the MIT Stata Center.

What's Included
A classroom, coordination services, and posting of the presentation date/time/location on the MIT GECD calendar are included. The cost of any auxiliary services (audio visual, furniture, etc.) ordered by the employer will be assumed by the employer and must be paid for at the time that the orders are placed.
All classrooms are enabled for wireless internet access. If your presentation requires wired internet access, a network drop would need to be activated at an additional charge.

Please note: Classrooms and lecture halls that are reserved for company presentations are equipped with desks and/or tables and chairs which cannot be removed from the room.

Deadlines and Process
Requests for presentation rooms, furniture rental, or AV equipment must be made no later than ten business days in advance of the targeted presentation date. An online request form can be accessed at the bottom of this page. You may make payment online via credit card or mail a check. Credit card payment is due upon submission of the request form. For check payments, please print the check payment form and mail with a check. Check payments must be received by Conference Services no later than ten business days in advance of the presentation.

Confirmation
Upon submission of the request form, you will receive an automatic response confirming that your request has been received. Payment must be received in full for your request to be processed further. Note that it can take up to ten business days for a room to be reserved. Once a room has been reserved, you will be sent a confirmation, including the location of the assigned room. Information on on-campus caterers will be included. If your request cannot be fulfilled, you will receive notification and alternative dates can be investigated.

Please also note that because the spaces available to presenters are classrooms, on rare occasions a presentation may need to be re-scheduled or re-located. In these circumstances, every effort will be made to find alternative classroom space. If the presentation cannot be re-scheduled, a full refund will be issued.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Company Presentations
Cancellations received in writing via email to co-recruit@mit.edu up to ten business days prior to the presentation are entitled to a refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds (full or partial) will be issued within ten business days of the presentation. Cancellations will not be accepted over the telephone. Employers who fail to send a written cancellation notice will be responsible for all costs associated with the presentation. Organizations with outstanding balances will be denied space for future presentations.

All refunds will be made in US dollars and in the form in which the original payment was submitted.

Changes
Any changes to your request must be submitted in writing via email to co-recruit@mit.edu by no later than ten business days prior to the presentation. Changes requested after that time cannot be guaranteed. Please do not use the online form to make changes as this will result in a duplicate request. No changes will be processed via telephone.

Advertising
The date, time, and location of your presentation will be submitted to the MIT GECD Office for inclusion on their calendar at http://gecd.mit.edu/jobs/find/apply/company_presentations.

Other forms of advertising are the responsibility of the recruiter. Suggestions can be found here: http://gecd.mit.edu/employers/plan/advertise.
