Company information sessions for fall 2016 may be scheduled through this website. The fall schedule runs from August 8 through November 18, 2016. Sessions may start no earlier than 6PM and end no later than 10PM. Information sessions may not be scheduled on holidays nor during the week of the MIT Fall Career Fair (September 19-23).
To schedule a presentation during the week of the MIT Fall Career Fair, please register for the fair at https://career-fair.mit.edu/#!/. After you register for the Fall Career Fair, a form will be available to you on the website to request a company event. If you would like to schedule a presentation during the week of the MIT Fall Career Fair but will not be attending the fair, please contact the Career Fair Directors at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The company contact who submits a request form is responsible for informing his/her company representatives of the policies listed on this page.
Recruitment Presentation Fee
The cost to request a company presentation is $340.00.
Please note: Requests from organizations with outstanding balances will not be confirmed until the balance is settled.
If you prefer your presentation be held in a Stata Center classroom, an additional $100 charge will be applied. Please forward your room request confirmation to email@example.com to make note of your preference; an updated invoice will be sent if we're able to accommodate your presentation in the MIT Stata Center.
A classroom, coordination services, and posting of the presentation date/time/location on the MIT GECD calendar are included. The cost of any auxiliary services (audio visual, furniture, etc.) ordered by the employer will be assumed by the employer and must be paid for at the time that the orders are placed. All classrooms are enabled for wireless internet access.
Please note: Classrooms and lecture halls that are reserved for company presentations are equipped with desks and/or tables and chairs which cannot be removed from the room.
Requests and Deadlines
Requests and full payment for presentation rooms, furniture rental, or AV equipment must be made no later than ten business days in advance of the targeted presentation date. An online request form can be accessed at the bottom of this page. Payment must be made online via credit card. Credit card payment is due upon submission of the request form.
Upon submission of the request form, you will receive an automatic response confirming that your request has been received. Payment must be received in full for your request to be processed further. Note that it can take up to ten business days for a room to be reserved. Once a room has been reserved, you will be sent a confirmation, including the location of the assigned room. Information on on-campus caterers will be included. If your request cannot be fulfilled, you will receive notification and alternative dates can be investigated.
Please also note that because the spaces available to presenters are classrooms, on rare occasions a presentation may need to be re-scheduled or re-located. In these circumstances, every effort will be made to find alternative classroom space. If the presentation cannot be re-scheduled, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellation and Refund Policy for Company Presentations
Cancellations received in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org up to ten business days prior to the presentation are entitled to a refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds (full or partial) will be issued within ten business days of the presentation. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather unless MIT is closed due to severe weather conditions. Cancellations will not be accepted over the telephone. Employers who fail to send a written cancellation notice will be responsible for all costs associated with the presentation. Organizations with outstanding balances will be denied space for future presentations.
All refunds will be made in US dollars and in the form in which the original payment was submitted.
Any changes to your request must be submitted in writing via email to email@example.com by no later than ten business days prior to the presentation. Changes requested after that time cannot be guaranteed. Please do not use the online form to make changes as this will result in a duplicate request. No changes will be processed via telephone.
The date, time, and location of your presentation will be submitted to the MIT GECD Office for inclusion on their calendar at http://cblink.mit.edu/events/company-presentation/.
Other forms of advertising are the responsibility of the recruiter. Suggestions can be found here: http://gecd.mit.edu/employers/plan/advertise.
Choosing a Presentation Date
Fall 2016 company information sessions may be scheduled on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 6PM and 10PM. All presentations must end by 10PM. Presentations may be scheduled weekdays from August 8 through November 18, 2016.
Prior to choosing a date for your presentation, we encourage you to browse the MIT GECD calendar of Company Presentations. Booking a date that has already been heavily scheduled with presentations may impact your attendance. By coordinating the session, MIT in no way guarantees an audience.

Information on on-campus caterers will be sent to you upon final confirmation of your room location. Catering requests must be made directly with the caterer. It is advised that you do not arrange for catering until your room reservation has been confirmed.
Due to limited storage capacity, presentation materials, when at all possible, should be brought by employers on the evening of the presentation. If advance shipment of materials is essential, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. MIT Conference Services must be notified that materials are being shipped. Shipping instructions will be provided separately.
Note that packages cannot be received at our office location; please do not ship to our address directly. You must email us at email@example.com for correct shipping information.
Tables for materials (or catering) are not included in the presentation fee and must be requested a minimum of ten business days in advance of your target presentation date. Some classrooms are equipped with movable tables that can be used for this purpose. We cannot guarantee the availability of this style classroom or additional tables.
Please find a list of paid parking facilities here: http://web.mit.edu/facilities/transportation/parking/visitors/public_parking.html. Metered street parking may also available.
