I would add Flora Gomes's The Blue Eyes of Yonta and Jean-Pierre Bekolo's
Quartier Mozart to the list of erotic, sexually unexplicit African films.
And the eros isn't just about gorgeous faces and bodies on screen, but
about expectation, pleasure deferred and delayed.
Also, the scene where Yamina unveils her hair in Merzak Allouache's Bab
El Oued City is pretty hot, too. To me, anyhow.
