The 1997 ALA conference will be held at the Kellogg Center at

topics include anthropology and film, the teaching of African film, history
and film, and, of course, literature and film. Our special nights we call
FESPACO and CARTHAGE nights in honor of the African film festivals held
biannually. This is our modest attempt to provide the ALA with a film
festival...in Michigan.
