    Hi,

    I made a documentary called THE CINEMATIC JAZZ OF JULIE DASH.

    It is an interview with Julie Dash. She talks about her background, training
    and her struggle to bring Daughters of the Dust to audiences.

    It also includes clips of Daughters, DIARY OF AN AFRICAN NUN and ILLUSIONS.

    THE CINEMATIC JAZZ OF JULIE DASH is often shown before the
    screening of Daughters to introduce the maker and her work.
