    Hi! I am not familiar with East African oral literature/tellers. There
    is a Janet Young whose husband is at the University of Kenya, she has
    done a lot of plays in Nairobi--Perhaps through her husband William
    Young, you could get info from her. Tell him or her, Isa Blyden referred
    you. In Senegal, though they would be in French, you will get a lot of
    griot narrations and perhaps some have been translated into English.
    Write to the Director of Television and Broadcasting, ORTS, Avenue
    Centenaire, Dakar, Senegal. Perhaps you can get something. African
