Werner Herzog's "Herdsmen of the Sun" is the one I show to my class. It
was made for French TV in the early 80's and lends itself nicely to
discussions on the issue of the cinematic vs the ethnographic modes of
viewing. It is also good at illustrating the contemporary historical
conditions in which the nomadic Fulani live.
