Sorry for the confusion lately, but they updated the listserver software,
and I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to make everything work
right. It seems most postings are continuing, although you can see some
differences in the TO and FROM addresses. Things are happening slower too -
taking hours instead of minutes, but that isn't really a problem I guess.
My main problems are handling the subscribing and un-subscribing of people,
and overall control of various functions. Anyhow please bear with me. This
weekend I will have time to study the new commands and work things out.

I'm trying to set it up so we all get back our own postings. I will also
work on changing it so that the listserver is un-moderated. It is a lot of
work approving each posting, so I want to try setting it up so that all
postings just go out. I am taking steps to see that spammers can't get into
the list and post junk to us all. Also I ask everyone to only post things
that are related to African Cinema, and to send messages that are for one
person to that one person and not to the entire list. If we find that too
much junk is posted and wasting all our time, then I will go back to
moderating all postings again. Frankly, I've put 20 minutes a day into this
for a couple years now, and am getting a bit tired of it. I have done my
daily moderating job while traveling in Australia, Europe and all over the
USA, and now I want to try to lighten my load. The new software has more
safeguards I believe and we are all more knowledgeable about listserver
postings and all. So let's see.... At worst, I'll change back if too much
    junk starts flowing.

As always please contact me directly if you have any individual concerns.

    Thanks for your patience,
