I am in search of a documentary of some sort which focuses on the life of
Kwame Nkrumah (and perhaps something specificly on Ghanaian Independence) I
am familiar with what is in the Basil Davidson series but I really would
like to find something more along the lines of a biographical account of
    Nkrumah.
Also, has Nkrumah been addressed much by African film makers? Any
    suggestions?

I think that the television/video series _End of Empire_ has a segment on
    Ghana that touches on Nkrumah.
Marika Sherwood at ICS (author of _Kwame Nkrumah : the years abroad,
1937-47, Legon: Freedom Publications, 1996) is on this list and may have
    further information.
