While I responded to Angelina Lambertus directly about my forthcoming book
and documentary on African women in the cinema and offered to assist her in
her research, I will also note to the list members that the Matatu 19
edition, With Open Eyes Women and African Cinema edited by Kenneth Harrow
includes a chapter by Emilie Ngo-Nguidjol entitled Focusing on Women in
    African Cinema: An Annotated Bibliography.
