Cathy Bencivenga, Southwestern University StudentCathy Bencivenga (behind the counter) did most of her growing up in Georgetown, though she is technically a foreigner--born in New York City to a Jewish mother and an Italian Catholic father. After a high school career spent doing show choir and musical theater, Cathy enrolled in local Southwestern University to study theater. She has been working in Cianfrani's, a locally-owned coffee shop on the Square, to keep up with her college expenses.
