This project is an attempt to capture the present-day Georgetown -- the remnants of its past and its leanings toward the future -- through the eyes of its people. I spent my teenage years in Georgetown half a decade ago, and my photographs reflect that perspective; they are accompanied by the thoughts of several of the city's current residents. The result, this website, is a series of photographs and textual snapshots of the present-day town and its people, superimposed on a map of the geographical city. Navigate back to the main site and click on any image or interview icon to read and see more. I hope it leaves you with some interesting thoughts on small towns past, present, and future.
