The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy packaging
Hitchhiker's Guide used the standard box format which consisted of a grey box with coloured horizontal stripes. It contained "How Many Times has This Happened to You?" - Hitchhiker's Guide sales brochure, two "Orders for Destruction" (yellow and silver), black cardboard sunglasses, a "Don't Panic!" button, some fluff (in a plastic bag), and a "microscopic space fleet" (empty plastic bag).
The Lurking Horror packaging
The Lurking Horror used the newer standard box format (much the same as the standard "book-like" box but with a slipcase containing a cardboard tray which contained all the package elements). It contained "G.U.E. at a Glance" (G.U.E. Tech guide), a G.U.E. Tech student ID card, and a red rubber centipede (between 2 sheets of clear plastic).
The re-release of Zork I used the standard box format which consisted of a grey box with coloured horizontal stripes. It contained "The GUE: A History" by Froboz Munbar, an instruction manual, and a map.
The release of the Zork Trilogy included all three Zorks, "The GUE: A History" by Froboz Munbar, a zorkmid, a map, a Bozbarland travel brochure, a Grayslopes travel brochure, a stock certificate, and a letter from the Chairman of the Board of FrobozzCo.
