For you, business is pleasure, and pleasure is business. The two can always be one and the same, as long as you know what everyone wants.
You make ayour living by knowing what everyone wants. It is your calling. They want, you provide. Take the Beszil system, for example: the things that everbody there wants, or rather those things which everyone who is important wants, are Drillies. Drillies and Drillyjuice.
"A Drilly is a small, rodent-like animal. About a half a foot in length, with smooth, pale, purple skin. Intelligent little buggers, too. Like Nyrellian Markels or EarthChimps. But that's not what makes them special. They're a narcotic. More specifically, their fluids are a strong narcotic to most humanoid races. Drillyjuice. It gets squeezed out of them in a big press, or juicer. And they have to be alive, or the stuff degrades. Nasty process, really."
Drillies are simultaneously the new corporate fad among the Beszil Conglomerate and the new powerdrug in the Beszil Outlays, where the Opium trade finally died off. It's amazing how easy it is for you to coordinate these things. Now you're buying a sizeable shipment of Drillies from Sam Lazlo and Hexan Mylar, a couple of smugglers here on Base 413. 150 Drillies, that is. These two look like small-time smugglers, so you think you'll be able to get the shipment cheap. Money is time and time is money.
Then there's this Nilzar character. It looks like Lazlo and Mylar decided to bring in a little competion. Well, you can handle it. If it comes to an auction, you'll win easily. If it comes to a split of the shipment, well, you're not going to split the shipment.
Hopefully, you won't have to cause any trouble...
