Part of what makes live action role-playing games so interesting is the unpredictability and individual touches added by the players. Thus, it is difficult to anticipate what will happen in any given run of a game like B Ark. Here are some of the situations that I think have the most potential for interesting dramatic situations and enjoyable gameplay. I don't have time to describe everything, and I could never imagine all of the things that players will come up with anyway, but here is at least a sample of what I think is most interesting about this game.
The Mice and the members of the CoC are both working toward very concrete and very well-defined goals, but both must work in secret to avoid being discovered and thwarted, by each other or by uninvolved characters. Zaphod is wedged in between, and is probably the most interesting single character in the game (which is logical, since he is really two characters, with two separate players), and is almost entirely an original creation, since Douglas Adams never suggested that Zaphod's buried personality was anything different from his real one, or that there coule be any conflict between them. The two sides of Zaphod's personality will be in constant conflict, as they have very differign personalities, objectives, and alliances. They will need to come to agreement on each and every thing they try to accomplish, since neither of Zaphod's personalities can managed to keep a secret, or use his skills without the co-operation of the other. Additionally, unlike many points of conflict in Assassin games, violence is not a potential solution. Zaphod cannot simply shoot his other head, for that would be shooting himself. Thus the two personalities will have to wheel and deal to convince each other to go along with what each of them wants to do. All of this will be further exaserbated by other characters who will interact with Zaphod and expect different personalities (for instance, the CoC expects to meet their original Zaphod, while Arthur, Ford, Trillian, and Marvin expect the Zaphod from the books).
