Modeling of electronic devices and analysis of nonlinear circuits.
Physical electronics of semiconductor junction and MOS devices.
Relation of electrical behavior to internal physical processes;
development of circuit models; understanding limitations of models.
Application of incremental and large-signal techniques for analyzing
circuits containing nonlinear devices. Analysis of bipolar and
field effect transistor circuits, with examples chosen from single-ended
and differential amplifiers, logic inverters, and other integrated circuits.
Design project. 4 Engineering Design Points.
