Aqueduct DesignRoman aqueducts frequently had to traverse deep depressions along their route. To get the water from one side to another, they piped the water down one side, then up the other. The design task is to size the pipes to handle a specified hourly flow rate and given a limit on the pipe diameter, and a nominal topography.
