Overview maps will provide a spatial presentation of the icing situation in an area or along a flight path. The icing condition will be color coded and the freezing level will be indicated in textual representation.
Future additions to this maps might be lines connecting points of common freezing level and presentation of significant weather as is done in the Areas of icing maps of the Alaska Aviation Weather Unit.
