A major work on the interaction of UV curable polymer with silicon molds has been completed; it included the investigation of the effect of pasivating the tool with C4H8.  This work included an analysis of the mechanical stresses on the material and the tool during the demolding process.  The resulting simulation was the first to include a proper constitutive model for the rubbery-like properties of the cured polymer.  A set of novel low-force peel tests was also conducted to properly calibrate the adhesion parameters in the model.
