The Clinical Research Center provides opportunities for education in research on humans for MIT undergraduate and graduate students, Post Doctorate Fellows, visiting scientists, nurses and staff. Undergraduate ('UROPs') and graduate students work directly with CRC principal investigators on specific research projects. Post Doctorate Fellows may also work with individual principal investigators or may be formal students in a master's degree program directed by Professor Robert Rubin. In addition, Professor Robert Rubin is involved with the following MIT course.

Ravi Thadhani, MD, MPH, an assistant Program Director, also teaches a formal MIT course offered in the Spring semester on Human Clinical Investigation.The course covers several aspects of investigation including study design, general epidemiological and statistical issues, ethics in clinical research, and understanding industry sponsored studies and marketing. The course is targeted to those interested in entering the area of biomedical sciences, including those interested in attending medical school, graduate school, and industry.
