Course Information

The objective of this course is to deliver the information, skills, and techniques associated with the creation and management of the physical products of real estate created through the process of real estate development. It is intended to expose students to the general skills, techniques and process associated with each of the functional areas involved in real estate development so that they may organize and lead the development process. In addition, the course also seeks to assess the fundamental characteristics of the real estate development industry, its products, contracts, regulatory and legal context and its markets. Students will work in teams to create a development proposal for a particular development opportunity.
