We are interested in running for the social chair position of
2006-2007 executive board of CSC. Together, we hold many qualities
that are essential to fulfilling the positions as social chairs. Not
only are we hardworking and responsible, we are also both outgoing
and eager to work with cultural clubs at and outside of the MIT
community. We have worked together in the past on the CSC Banquet
Decorations committee and have proved ourselves to be a successful
team. Also, as current members of the exec board, we are experienced
in helping to organize many CSC events, such as Utopia, the annual
CSC Chinese New Year Banquet, and the numerous study breaks
throughout the year. Next year, we would like to take on a more
active role in planning social events for CSC. We have enjoyed
working with exec and would really like to continue to contribute to
the Chinese Student Club by serving on exec again.
