After developing for around ten years, MIT CSSA becomes not only the organization for MIT Chinese students but also an important venue for the Metro-Boston Chinese community. I believe the root of our influence is our practical style. With such a style, we provide a lot of real and tangible services for Chinese people. We need to keep on this style to build on the success of MIT CSSA.
I have my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Economics in International Business from Fudan University, now I am studying in Technology and Policy Program at MIT.

I will do my best in the CSSA board and hope all of us together will make CSSA a 'da(4) zhong(4) qing(2) ren(2)'. Please 'duo(1) duo(1) bao(1) han(2)'. :)

Treasurer: Tao (Tony) Qiu

I was born in Nanjing, and took grade school as well as secondary school there. From 1998 to 2000, I took Junior College in Singapore, and then came to MIT (a great place). Being the freshest (probably the youngest) person in CSSA, I am hoping to bring the association some fresh air, and for the best I can, voice out for the undergraduate Chinese student body (you will be amazed at how few we are from the ISO statistics). We are the minority, yet one of the crucial parts that constitute this big family. More over, as the vice president of the International Student Association (thanks to all that have given me their support), I wish that CSSA could have more interactions with the international community as a whole, and expand that influence, I will do my part to make this happen, and I am looking forward to working for you in the coming semester.

Social Chair: Hongyu Cai picture

I came from Tsinghua University and am now studying in the School of Architecture and Planning.Life may not be always satisfying, but at least we can choose an optimistic attitude to face it.

Social Chair: Rong Wang

Hi, my name is Rong Wang. I come from Sichuan Province, China. I like chilly food very much but it is a pity that I don't have a typical Sichuan-Chilly-Girl character. I have three great hobbies: shopping(1), cooking(2) and playing(3). We will feel lonely being far away from hometown. We will feel high pressure studying at MIT. But I think we can try to make life happier, easier and tastier. So, put away the work you would never finish, go out with us. You will find that life is much more interesting than you thought. Believe me! or not?

My current interest is to develop an entrepreneurial vision and dream for a great startup of my own. I have working experience in multinational company, start-up, and research institute, and have attended some MBA courses in HBS and Sloan. Anyone have same thoughts is welcomed to contact me. Depending on the response, we may initilize some discussions and activities on the interested topics, such as cutting edge research and technology, business, career, or $50K competition.
